Starting my Industrial Engineering degree at Stellenbosch University feels like a perfect fit for me. I've always been the type of person who looks at a process or system and thinks "there must be a better way to do this" – which is probably why this field speaks to me so much.

What really draws me to industrial engineering is how versatile it is. Whether it's streamlining a factory floor, improving hospital patient flow, or optimizing supply chains, I'll be learning to solve real-world problems that make a difference. And honestly, I can't think of a better place to study this surrounded by mountains and vinyards.

Beyond the technical stuff, I'm looking forward to growing as a person and developing the kind of thinking that helps tackle complex challenges. I can't wait to get started!
